Beginning in 2023, Alash and Russian jazz organist Vladimir Khomyakov joined forces in several experimental and improvisatory concerts. It turned out to be an extraordinary collaboration between two very different musical worlds, making a strong impression on the musicians as well as the listeners. Vladimir used the organ to create a kind of “sound ocean” that surrounded and enhanced the overtones in Alash's voices and instruments, giving them new harmonic depth and at times an unexpected rhythmic vitality.
